Forum Summary

The 2024 Northeast Mid-Atlantic Partnership for Forests and Water Forum was held in Hamden, Connecticut on November 20^th and 21^st! The two-day forum included a half-day field tour on November 20^th and a full-day workshop on the 21^st. Over 80 partners attended the forum, representing 11 Northeast Mid-Atlantic states, and brought unique perspectives and experiences to the Partnership’s third collaborative convening. The forum was a fantastic opportunity to network, share information, and build momentum for the regional Partnership and state-led efforts to collaborate. Special thanks to our hosts, South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority, the excellent lineup of speakers and panelists, field trip presenters, and the entire planning team that made the event possible.

At the end of the forum we invited everyone to write down one action they were committing to take after leaving the forum. Have you started working on yours? The planning team and Partnership Steering Committee are hard at work on next steps and will be in touch about opportunities to continue engaging with the Partnership soon.
